Three University of La Verne students are spending their summer as interns at the prestigious City of Hope, a world-renowned comprehensive cancer center and independent biomedical research institution located in Duarte, California, just 15 miles from the university鈥檚 central campus.
Students studying chemistry and physics at the University of La Verne鈥檚 central campus this fall will benefit from state-of-the-art, newly renovated labs when in-person classes begin again on August 23.

A former Undersecretary of the United Nations and a member of President Joe Biden鈥檚 Cabinet were awarded the honorary degree Doctor of Humane Letters by the University of La Verne, announced in virtual commencement ceremonies held on May 29. Both were commencement keynote speakers for University of La Verne graduates.
