Membership in the influential network reflects the University of La&nbsp;Verne\u2019s longstanding commitment to education equity, innovation, and community-responsive leadership.<\/p>\n<p>Acceptance into CPED followed a competitive peer-reviewed application process led by the CPED Membership Committee, which recognized LCFE\u2019s readiness to contribute meaningfully to the consortium\u2019s mission and scholarly community.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span>Joining CPED represents a significant milestone for the University of La&nbsp;Verne,&#8221; said Dr. Risa Dickson, president of the University of La&nbsp;Verne. &#8220;It aligns directly with our mission of academic excellence by preparing highly skilled practitioners, advocates, and equity-minded leaders to serve diverse educational communities.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The University of La&nbsp;Verne now joins an esteemed cohort of institutions such as the University of Southern California, Arizona State University, and Baylor University, positioning LFCE among national leaders advancing the future of doctoral education.<\/p>\n<p>Membership in CPED will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Strengthen LFCE\u2019s academic brand<\/strong> in the competitive landscape of doctoral.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Equip faculty with research-based design frameworks,<\/strong> resources, and collaborative development opportunities.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Enhance LFCE\u2019s appeal<\/strong> to educational leaders seeking a practitioner-focused, equity-driven doctoral experience.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Foster cross-institutional learning<\/strong> and scholarly engagement for faculty and students.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&#8220;This membership reaffirms our vision to prepare equity-driven scholar-practitioners who are ready to lead systems change,\u201d said Dr. MD Haque, dean of the LaFetra College of Education. \u201cWe\u2019re proud to contribute to CPED\u2019s national movement for innovation in doctoral education.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>LCFE\u2019s newly launched EdD program in Educational Leadership reflects this commitment. Designed for PK-12 professionals, the program is structured for accessibility and impact.
