The University of La Verne is expanding opportunities for educational leaders to network and gain tools for professional growth at any stage of their career.<\/p>\n

The LaFetra College of Education college is hosting this year\u2019s Association for Continuing Higher Education (ACHE) Emerging Leaders Institute,<\/a> which is focused on \u201cThe Generations from Boom to Z: How to collaborate, cooperate, manage, lead, and understand.\u201d The four-day ACHE training will be held June 25-28 on the University of La Verne\u2019s historic campus in La Verne.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis partnership allows us to connect those interested in stepping into a leadership role or those who want to enhance their current capabilities to opportunities to share insights with peers and engage in practical learning that can be applied to their professional career immediately,\u201d said MD Haque, dean of LaFetra College of Education.<\/p>\n

ACHE promotes lifelong learning and excellence in continuing higher education through professional development, research and exchange of information between its approximately 1,200 members from more than 300 colleges and universities in the United States and Canada.\u00a0 It is also dedicated to continuing higher education as a means of enhancing and improving society in general. The upcoming\u00a0institute includes interactive workshops covering leadership and program development, artificial intelligence, and working with Gen Z among other topics.\u00a0 To learn more about the institute and register, visit acheinc.org\/2024-ache-emerging-leaders-institute.<\/a><\/p>\n

This new affiliation is the latest among the college\u2019s efforts to increase support for leaders navigating evolving challenges in education. Earlier this year, LaFetra College launched a partnership with AASA, The School Superintendents Association<\/a> for continuing education units, and now serves as the premier West Coast location for AASA professional development and organizational meetings.
