On Monday, January 16, students, faculty, and staff from the University of La Verne volunteered for L.A. Works’ Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. The university served as a co-sponsor for the event.
More than 120 new University of La Verne students met with 21 local community organizations during the Office of Community and Civic Engagement鈥檚 (OCCE) annual FLEX & New Student Community Engagement Day on September 10.

STEAM:CODERS is the brainchild of Raymond Ealy, a former banker with a passion for creating STEAM opportunities for underserved young people.
The university community will honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by helping the homeless, spending time with the elderly, & mentoring children.
Over 450 members of the University of La Verne community gathered to clean, garden, paint and volunteer at community organizations throughout the region.
