Physician Assistant Program Celebrates Second Cohort with Commencement on Campus
The second cohort of graduates in the University of La Verne’s celebrated their accomplishments in a commencement ceremony held in the Ann and Steve Morgan Auditorium on campus on December 4.
Students in the PA program at the university study the holistic complexities of the profession both inside the classroom and in the field through clinical rotations. The Physician Assistant field is listed as the #1 Job of the 100 Best Jobs, and it also tops the Best Jobs in Healthcare, as ranked by US News and World Report in its 2021 Best Jobs ranking, released in January 2021.
The PA program graduated its first cohort in 2020, a group which to date has a 100 percent pass rate on the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination庐 (PANCE). Most are working in primary care areas throughout the Los Angeles and Inland Empire communities.
